2017 Olympic Peninsula Guided Wild Steelhead Angling Adventures
Primal Angler is currently booking fully guided fly fishing and center-pin adventures for wild coastal winter steelhead on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula between January to April 2017. The Olympic Peninsula is home to some of the largest wild steelhead in the world, every time your fly hits the water you could encounter a steelhead of a lilfetime over twenty pounds!

We guide the rivers draining the western slope of the Olympic mountains near Forks, Washington including the Hoh, Bogachiel, Sol Duc, Calawah, Quillyute and Clearwater rivers utilizing rafts and drift boats. Fishing techniques primarily include swinging a fly with double-handed spey rods and nymphing with switch and single-handed fly rods out of the boat, depending on angler preference. We are also one of the few outfitters on the Olympic Peninsula offering guided center-pin trips and instruction for those interested in this learning this deadly technique!

Guided trips include a full day of guided fishing and instruction, use of our custom tackle and flies, lunch, drinks, shuttle fees, and photographs. Trips originate from Forks, Washington. Due to the dynamic nature of the temperate rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula, we strongly recommend booking multiple days to increase your chances of encountering optimal river conditions!
